We are excited to launch our Politics department blog!

The Politics program provides students with a rigorous and valuable preparation for many different vocations—through the development of transferable skills such as critical thinking, written/ oral communication and problem-solving, as well as comprehension of political behavior and institutions.  The great philosopher Aristotle noted in his Politics: “Man is a political animal.”  Thus understanding politics assists us in effectively navigating many structures in public and private life.

This blog will provide several resources to you the reader to learn more about our experiences:  Student and faculty posts, department events, as well as opportunities on campus and beyond. We hope this blog this blog is a meaningful tool for you to find inspiration and interact with students and faculty in our department.
